Why do I want more?

Have you found yourself asking this question even though you're holding your precious little bundle? My husband and I have been struggling back and forth with the same issue. Is it really wrong to desire more even though culture (and sometimes close friends and family) say you have enough (and possibly too many)?

Jesus said, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." Mark 9:37

A newborn is a fresh act of God. The latest revelation of His creativity. A new image of the Lord. It is so amazing to be allowed to steward these precious little image bearers. Is it wrong to desire more of these amazing little blessings?

I suppose, as in all things, we are to pray and listen carefully for His guidance. He will light our paths.

What are Christian Birthing Classes like?

These classes are similar to the classes given at your hospital with one exception - the focus is on Christ. This class will help you to prepare for your child not just physically but emotionally and spirtually as well. In it you will learn what the bible says about birth. You will also learn how to use Christian disciplines to aid in comfort and calm fears during pregnancy and delivary. All the same physiological information as hospital classes without the uncomfortable videos.

A couples class, it will help dads deal with their coming role of spiritual leader, provider and coach (through labor).

It doesn't matter if this is your first baby or your fifth, your planning a natural birth or a c-section; God wants you to invite Him into the birth of your baby. We invite Him into our weddings and funerals, babtisms and baby dedications. Now is the time to invite Him into the birth of your precious child.
